One of the few downsides to having your cozy log home out and away from urban and suburban sprawl is the problem of high speed internet access. Unless a cable company happens to have strung cables nearby, or you just happen to live in the woods very near a telephone switching office, you are stuck with the dial up option or expensive cell based services, which if you only have a couple of cell phone bars on your porch, isn’t really an option either.
