We've started building this Wilderness Log Home Oct 15 2004. Check back all winter as we build this 7000 sq foot log home and watch the progress.

As expected we hit some mean rock. A quick charge of dynamite has reduced the rock to rubble and we continue to dig.

They've done it!
In just 12 days, Earthworx has installed a 200ft long, 17ft high rock wall on this bluff overlooking the Grant river.
Despite dangerous windchills and harsh conditions, they finished the evening before we received a foot of snow.
We have the people that know how to get the job done! On time!

Bob carefully sets a stone weighing over 10,000 lbs. Watch out Bob! that wall drops  17ft straight down!

McDermott Casey construction was chosen to supply all the concrete work on this new home due to their commitment to quality and attention to detail. Make no mistake, this is a big one!

Mike Mcdermott is seen polishing the concrete to a perfect smooth finish. Soon this room will look like this.

We've been framing for 10 weeks now and the home is starting to take shape. Note some of the interesting architecture.
